The Clinic Provides: (Full-time, Part-time, Contract)

Full-time reception
Supervised in-depth training (for new graduates)
Appointment Scheduling/Billing (MSP, WCB, ICBC)
Sales team
Spacious clinic
Large treatment rooms
Rehab gym area within clinic

What We Offer To Full-Time Position:

Administrative support to help you focus on your clients

Qualifications / Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Therapy
Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC).
Suggested membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle for work purposes

Assets:

Second Language
Recent relevant experience in clinical settings

Position: Receptionist-Front Desk Position

Receptionist-Front Desk Position (Full/Part Time)

Mountainview Health and Wellness Centre is a busy, well-established multidisciplinary clinic with two locations in New Westminster and Surrey. Our clinics offer services such as Physio, Massage, Kinesiology, Psychology, Counselling, and more. We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our New Westminster location.

Position Details:

  • Location: New Westminster, BC
  • Shift: Mixture of daytime, afternoon, evening, and Saturday shifts
  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in a medical/physio office environment
  • Proficiency in Jane App (A must), MS Word, Excel, Email, Web-Based Utilities, Adobe
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Handling invoicing, billing to ICBC, WCB, and third-party insurance
  • Reception duties: answering phones, data entry, typing, filing, faxing
  • Maintaining clinic cleanliness and organization, including laundry
  • Greeting clients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Scheduling appointments and managing payments
  • Managing the filing system and maintaining accurate records
  • Assist practitioners as needed and complete closing procedures

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle a steady workload
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment
